Almost all our engagement shoots end up being like a fun adventure, we typically just pick an cool area and go for a walk. Niki and Joey’s location choice was Kensington Market, we found so many cool backdrops along the way and there was definitely no shortage of graffiti art to add pops of color to these photographs. Niki and Joey were up for anything; they were laid back and didn’t mind the many people we had to shoot around. They even let us snap a few pictures while they shared a sweet treat. The love and friendship between Niki and Joey was prominent in each photograph we took. We had so much fun with these two and are looking forward to their wedding.
Toronto’s Yorkville was the perfect place for these two fashionista to have their pictures taken to celebrating their engagement. Narmi and Rajeev had only one request for their engagement photos: they wanted them to look like they were straight from the pages of a fashion magazine. They are a beautiful couple and we had gorgeous light, which made our job pretty easy. To start things off we met at the Hazelton Hotel, and walked towards the Royal Ontario Museum, taking pictures along the way. The museums high glass walls and beautiful exterior structure made for a beautiful backdrop. These two were so adorable, and so photogenic! We finished the shoot on Bloor Street at Loui Vuitton, just in time too, because right after it started to pour!
We headed to Kariya Park for our most recent shoot of this beautiful young couple in love. Can you believe you can find such beautiful scenery in the heart of Mississauga? Marvillin and Michael were an adorable couple to photograph and easy to shoot too, our camera’s loved them. We had so much fun photographing these two, they were up for anything. They didn’t even mind when a group of ducks and their little ducklings walked right in front of the camera stealing the show. Thankfully we had a lovely summer evening to shoot them on too! Congratulations on your engagement Marvillin and Michael!
Spring Engagement at Scarborough Bluffs
Crystal and Aaron chose a great spot when they booked their engagement session with us. The Scarborough Bluffs offered beautiful landscapes and sandy beaches for us to shoot this adorable loving couple, and let’s not forget their English Bulldog, Benson. We had so much fun on this photo-shoot, and getting to know these too was truly a pleasure. Thankfully the fun isn’t over and we get to photograph their gorgeous wedding this August!
Love is in the air. Karla and Patrick were an absolute pleasure to shoot this past March. To start things off we met at Brookfield Place, the high glass ceiling and beautiful interior structure made for a beautiful backdrop. These two were so adorable, and so photogenic!
Next we walked to the waterfront, stopping along the way to take pictures. The sun decided to come out and play for just a few minutes while we were on the boardwalk.
We had a great time photographing Karla and Patrick in downtown Toronto, and we’re so lucky we got to share this very special time in their lives.
Many people want to wait until spring to do their engagement portraits, but I’m pretty sure Danielle and Chris can attest to the fun we had braving the cold. We spent the day adventuring through the falling snowflakes in Guelph, which is where Danielle and Chris met. These were definitely their stomping grounds; we walked to three different locations, meanwhile Anthony and I had fun learning all about their favourite sport – Ultimate Frisbee!
