Niki & Joey are teenage sweethearts who met while working the same part-time, summer job. As Niki described it, Joey’s patience and persistence ultimately led them to where they are today – happily married. We had a blast with these two. From their engagement shoot, to their two day wedding, we got to know them pretty well. They had a large bridal party filled with their closest friends, who really were their extended family. Whom kept the weddings festivities, calm and cool when they needed to be, but more importantly – lively and fun! Or favorite part about working with this beautiful couple was their flavourful taste in music… we couldn’t help putting our cameras down at the end of the night to join them on the dance floor. We wish them both long-lasting happiness!

In October, Amy and Sean will head south to Mexico for what will be a beautiful destination wedding, at Hacienda Las Trancas. First they made their marriage official at Whitby Town Hall. Together with their parents, Amy and Sean exchanged their vows during a lovely, intimate, private ceremony. It was a pleasure being able to photograph and share this special moment.
Almost all our engagement shoots end up being like a fun adventure, we typically just pick an cool area and go for a walk. Niki and Joey’s location choice was Kensington Market, we found so many cool backdrops along the way and there was definitely no shortage of graffiti art to add pops of color to these photographs. Niki and Joey were up for anything; they were laid back and didn’t mind the many people we had to shoot around. They even let us snap a few pictures while they shared a sweet treat. The love and friendship between Niki and Joey was prominent in each photograph we took. We had so much fun with these two and are looking forward to their wedding.
