We live in downtown Toronto, Canada. We LOVE to travel and are happy to travel to other destinations for weddings. All that is required is flights for 2 (Anthony and Angela) and a small travel fee that covers our incidentals and hotel for at least 3 nights: typically the night we arrive, the night of the wedding, and the night after.
For sure! It’s your wedding. If your family members would like a duplicate of the formal photographs, we will gladly step aside for them after we have ensured we’ve captured a photo with all eyes on us. We do ask to be the only photographer present during bridal party and couple portrait sessions.
It would be a nice gesture, but it is not required. It does not have to be the same as your sit-down meal. Many caterers offer “vendor meals” as an option. We’d prefer to be fed when you are fed, not afterwards. We do not take pictures while you are eating and not at your most photogenic. When you’re finished eating, we want to be done as well, to continue your coverage.
Please contact us and let us know if you have specific budgetary needs.
Absolutely, if you would like us to stay overtime with your permission we will continue covering your wedding and bill for those hour when return from your honeymoon. Our additional hourly rate is $300.
A.S.A.P. because we cannot “hold” dates or “pencil you in”. Dates are booked when the deposit is received. Most of our commissions contact us a full calendar year or more in advance.
For family photos, It would be helpful to have family groupings written down for us in advance, however, we will not work from a “check list”, or repeated requests for posed images. It is very helpful to know which important relatives and friends are coming to your wedding, and if any events bear special significance, but a “shot lists” is counterproductive. Please understand that we will generally capture all those images without prompting.
Angela studied visual communications and photography in University and started shooting weddings in 2011. Anthony annoyed his family members with his camera throughout his 20’s and shot his first wedding in 2010. When Angela and Anthony met in 2012, they realised they shared a passion for photography and started Damion Rae Photography in early 2013. Together they have both shot over 50 weddings.
