Amanda & Jason: Battlefield Park Engagement, Stoney Creek – Hamilton

Amanda and Jason chose to have their engagement photos taken at Battlefield Park in Stoney Creek, Hamilton to celebrate their lifelong commitment to each other. We commend Amanda for picking this unique location – she later told us it’s one of her favorites, especially in the fall. We were excited to explore this park and it’s rich history, as well as get to know Amanda and Jason better.

From the get-go Amanda was enthusiastic about the shoot, bringing along an outfit change and props. We love to see couples excited about the process and looking to personalize their photos anyway they can. Amanda and Jason are huge football fans, so they made sure to sport matching t-shirts of their favourite team. They even put their anniversary date on a football!

Battlefield Park is a beautiful 32 acre field of forest. It is open to the public all year round and used for the re-enactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek. We had at a great time walking around photographing this lovely couple and discovering all this park has to offer. Amanda and Jason were a joy to shoot! Looking at the photos you can tell they had lot of fun during their engagement shoot.

We’d like to congratulate Amanda and Jason on their engagement and wish them many blessings as they marry each other this May. We’re looking forward to it!
