Celina & Michael | Scarborough Bluffs Engagement | Toronto
Celina and Michael chose to have a Scarborough Bluffs Engagement this past fall. The Bluffs are located in Scarborough, Ontario and are quite popular for our engagement shoots. This was a really chilly day, but the fall colours of the leaves looked beautiful! Celina and Michael had no problem taking their jackets off and jumping right into the shoot.
We started off taking pictures in the park above the Bluffs – a benefit to shooting on a colder day is that there aren’t many people around! We loved Celina and Michael’s choice of clothing and how their outfits subtlety matched. They were also both really good at taking direction and were willing to try different poses. On top of the Bluffs we were able to capture some stunning images as the sun was low in the sky. Looking at the pictures, you can see a nice glow around Celina and Michael as the sun sets – this is what photographers call the golden hour!
Our last stop was down by the water, to capture some moments on the bridge. Celina and Michael did something we don’t see to often and changed into formal wear for this location. We thought the wardrobe change was a great call on their part because it brought a certain elegance to the photos. At this point, the sky looked absolutely beautiful and very vivid in its colours. Celina and Michael endured the chilly winds for a bit longer as we took some photos on the beach. We think it was worth it as we love these photos – especially the one of them holding each other and looking out onto the lake.
We wrapped the shoot up with a ring shot and then Celina and Michael were able to put their jackets back on. We had a great time photographing and getting to know Celina and Michael. Of course we were ecstatic we’re given the opportunity to shoot their wedding this September. We wish them both a lifetime of happiness!
