Crystal and Aaron chose Otello’s Banquet and Convention Centre in Oakville, Ontario for their wedding venue. We were lucky to have been acquainted with this loving couple from shooting their fall engagement photos at the Scarborough Bluffs. The location they chose for these celebratory photos was perfect, with its diverse landscape and sandy beaches, so we knew this couple had an eye for photogenic backdrops. Although this time, their English Bulldog Benson was not there to keep us on our toes!
This wedding venue served the dual purpose of hosting the reception and the ceremony. The day began with soon-to-be-married couple catching a first look at each other. A first look photo is a great way to capture both partners’ reactions in seeing each other for the first time, if they plan to see each other before the ceremony. This is always heart-warming to watch. Crystal and Aaron’s first look was filled with emotion and lot’s of love.
The ceremony was held outside Otello’s Banquet and Convention Centre with an intimate canopy for the couple and priest to stand beneath. Crystal and Aaron were married by their family priest. With both partners active in their church it was beautiful to see that the priest was personally invested in the ceremony. Looking back on pictures of the smiling audience, it was a very happy day for all.
As the guests had cocktail hour, Crystal and Aaron snuck off to take pictures at Lakeside Park, Mississauga. This was a beautiful setting to shoot the newly-weds with the park’s lush greenery. After the photoshoot, it was back to Otello’s Banquet and Convention Centre to celebrate! This large banquet hall was roomy enough for quite the dance party! Crystal and Aaron began the night with a choreographed first dance and then it was anyone’s game.
This was a great day/night thanks to the accommodating venue: Otellos Banquet and Convention Centre, and our photoshoot location: Lakeside Park in Mississauga.
Awwww…. Crystal, such beautiful pictures! God is so good!
The pictures are magnificent! Thank you for posting them! So happy for both of you!
