Diane & Scott: High Park Blossoms and Humber Bay Arch Bridge Engagement
Diane and Scott chose to have a High Park Blossoms and Humber Bay Arch Bridge Engagement. This shoot had excellent timing, as High Park’s cherry blossom trees were in full bloom. What a beautiful way to celebrate the arrival of Spring and an engagement!
During our time in High Park, we took photos amongst the trees, but also in some of the trails. The colours of the blossoms were absolutely stunning and coincidentally matched Diane’s shirt! Looking back on these photos, you can see Diane and Scott are totally at ease with each other and in many photos we caught them mid-laugh.
After finishing up at High Park we all walked towards Humber Bridge, as Diane and Scott told us about their wedding plans. We found out Scott is a huge Lego buff and a collector of old, collectable toys. As a tribute to Scott’s passion they want to include Lego in their wedding décor – what a fun idea! You can check out the pictures here.
We took the rest of their engagement photos on the Humber bay Arch Bridge, which is a double-rubbed arch bridge that serves as a pedestrian and cyclist path. This area is a bit different from the usual parks we shoot at for engagements and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The bridge encompasses elements of both nature and city life – plus, it has significant meaning for Diane and Scott! As marathon runners they often run along this bridge together.
