Karla and Patrick chose to have their spring engagement photos taken in Brookfield Place and along the Lakeshore in Toronto. We were able to shoot this couple in March which was nice because the weather was starting to warm up, it was perfect sweater weather. Kara and Patrick were a pleasure to shoot – they were adorable and very photogenic!
To begin the day, we met downtown Toronto at Brookfield Place. This beautiful structure is a landmark in Toronto and in the heart of the city. It is home to the world’s largest financial and legal firms, but don’t let this deceive you – the inside is ethereal. The building’s inclined steel supports allowed tons of natural light to trickle in and illuminate our photographs.
Next we made our way down to the Lakeshore boardwalk which runs along the waterfront in Toronto. The sun came out to play for a few minutes while we were walking along the boardwalk, making for some beautifully lit photographs.
We had a great time photographing Karla and Patrick in downtown Toronto, and we were so lucky to share this special time in their lives.
