Narmi and Rajeev: Bloor-Yorkville Engagement
Narmi and Rajeev chose to have their engagement photos taken at the stylish Bloor-Yorkville in Toronto. This section of Toronto is known internationally as a major shopping destination, so it was perfect for these two fashionistas. Being as stylish as they are, Narmi and Rajeev only had one request for their Bloor-Yorkville Engagement photos – they wanted the photos to look like they were straight from the pages of a fashion magazine. We were excited the couple wanted to head in this direction because it gave us the opportunity to do something a little different while working in an area we know! Being based downtown Toronto, it is always nice to be able to explore and get to know our city a little better.
We began our photo shoot at the Hazelton Hotel in Yorkville, Toronto. This hotel is considered one of the most luxurious in Toronto and has seen many celebrity visitors. With its prime downtown location, surrounded by art galleries and designer boutiques, it’s easy to see why this hotel has elite status. Narmi and Rajeev definitely have exquisite taste.
We walked from the Hazelton hotel to the Royal Ontario Museum, taking pictures along the way. Narmi and Rajeev are a beautiful couple and we had gorgeous light throughout the day, so it’s fair to say this shoot was near effortless! The Royal Ontario Museum was a fabulous backdrop with its high walls and crystalline-form structure. The camera loved these two and their outfits! Narmi and Rajeev were both dressed sharply and this added to the stylish aesthetic of the photographs.
We finished our shoot on Bloor Street at Louis Vuitton and just in time because it started to rain! We are so excited to see what this couple has in store for their wedding.
