Rita & Chris: Scarborough Bluffs Engagement
Rita and Chris choose to have a Scarborough Bluffs Engagement shoot to celebrate their upcoming spring wedding. The couple really wanted to incorporate nature in their photos, so naturally, Scarborough Bluffs was at the top of the list of recommendations. The fact that it was January didn’t even phase us! Rita and Chris managed to endure the cold winds while still looking completely relaxed and comfortable in the photographs.
We met Rita and Chris shortly after their engagement, on new year’s eve, and we understood they were on a tight schedule. With a few months before their wedding we jumped right into the engagement shoot. You could tell within minutes of meeting Rita and Chris they are a perfect match. Looking at the photos it’s clear to see how at ease they are with each other.
We began our shoot at the park, where Rita and Chris quickly threw aside their jackets and got in front of the camera. When things got chilly Rita and Chris had some fun with the situation, jumping up and down for warmth. Throughout the whole process we were so impressed with how comfortable Rita and Chris were in front of the camera – at one point we had to ask if they had done this before. Although this was their first time being photographed together they were complete naturals!
We wrapped up our shoot on the bridge, which always results in beautiful photographs as the sun is going down. Rita and Chris were still keeping things lighthearted as we were winding down by dancing on the bridge. It’s so rewarding to see a couple have fun with the shoot – not only does it make the time fly by, but the photos turn out that much better! We are so happy with how this winter engagement shoot turned out and we’d like to wish Rita and Chris a lifetime of happiness.
Great photos with gorgeous light.
Thank you
